Alltec Fibre Ltd are a leading fibre optic network supplier offering installation, cabling and testing to our continued expansion we require Fibre Optic Cable Installation Technicians to join our growing team in Ireland.
The role is based in Ireland and requires employees to travel on various sites across Ireland.
The Ideal candidate:
Experience in installation, termination and testing of copper cables
Experience in installation, termination and testing of Fibre Optics cabling
Ability to follow design drawings and schematics.
Must be able to work effectively on your own and as part of a team
Must have a focus on Health & Safety
Excellent communication skills
Use hand and power tools competently and safely
Duties & Responsibilities:
Installing and dressing Cat 5e / Cat 6 / Cat 6A (Copper Cable)
Installing and dressing fiber cables
Install Cabinets
Install Racks
Terminate and test Cat 5e / Cat 6 / Cat 6A (Copper Cable)
Terminate and test Fibre Optic Cable
Patching Fibre cables
Qualifications but not Essential :
Minimum 2 years' experience with installations of fibre and copper cables.
Manual Handling. (Will be provided in-house)
Full Driving Licence.
Working at Heights. (Will be provided in-house)
