Red Chair Recruitment are presently recruiting an experienced B2B Sales Representative to join our Hardware and Agricultural clients team. This is a mainly field-based role, you will engage directly with retailers, focusing on growing sales, managing client relationships, and identifying new opportunities. This position is field based covering the Cork, Kerry & Limerick area.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and develop an existing portfolio of hardware and agri merchant accounts across Southern Ireland.
* Drive sales growth of Hardware and Farm Building Products in line with company targets.
* Identify and convert new business opportunities, including new store openings and product placements.
* Build strong relationships with store owners, managers, and buying teams.
* Provide product demonstrations, technical support, and training to customers as required.
* Ensure effective merchandising, product visibility, and stock rotation in-store.
* Negotiate pricing, promotions, and order volumes within agreed parameters.
* Monitor competitor activity and market trends, feeding insights back to management.
* Accurately manage CRM records, sales reports, forecasts, and weekly activity plans.
* Represent the company at trade shows, agri events, and customer meetings.
Requirements
* Proven Field Sales experience (Hardware/Agricultural sector advantageous)
* Knowledge of Irish agricultural and rural retail market
* Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills
* Full, clean driving license
This is a permanent, full-time position. A Competitive salary (negotiable depending on experience) along with an attractive commission structure and company vehicle is offered.
