We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanic Technician to join our team. As part of this role, you will be responsible for performing mechanical work with efficiency and accuracy in accordance with dealership and manufacturer's standards.
Responsibilities:
* Diagnostics: You will diagnose the cause of any malfunction and perform repairs efficiently.
* Liaise with Service Manager: You will liaise with the service manager on diagnostics at all times.
* Road Testing: After each repair, you must road test the vehicle to ensure that it is accurate and completed without issues.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
You should have experience working as a motor mechanic technician or similar position. It would be beneficial if you had some knowledge of diagnostic technology, especially related to modern vehicles electronics.
We prefer candidates who hold relevant qualifications such as NVQ level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, along with additional skills training in areas like engine maintenance or electrical system diagnosis.
Other essential requirements include being fully qualified in mechanics (NVQ Level 3), good English language proficiency both written and verbal communication skills), having strong administrative skills also desired
Ideally we seek someone who has prior retail experience preferably sales
