Senior Project Manager (Environmental Science) Salary £Commensurate with experience

The Vacancy Jennings O'Donovan & Partners part of RSK Group are seeking to recruit an experienced Senior Project Manager with a background in Environmental Science to join our expanding environmental team.
Applicants should ideally have a minimum of 7 years' experience working post qualification.
The successful candidates must have the ability oversee and manage the planning, execution and delivery of complex environmental projects, ensuring compliance, stakeholder engagement and project success.
The candidate has a strong understanding of environmental regulations, project management methodologies, and the ability to lead and collaborate with diverse teams.
They have a proven track record of designing and implementing successful sustainability initiatives.
KeyResponsibilities: Develop key project management tasks including project plans, timelines, financial management of budgets, producing fee proposals, and tendering for work.
Working with the existing Environmental Team on environmental aspects of diverse projects including renewable energy, infrastructure, and private commercial projects.
Leading, coordinating, supervising, and mentoring other Environmental Scientists (in-house staff and external sub-contractors) work to ensure safe and efficient delivery of work on time and within budget.
Managing resource allocation of work schedules, providing assistance, guidance, and technical review of other team members' work, and providing on-the-job training and feedback to other staff.
Provide technical environmental advice and recommendations to clients (including face-to-face meetings) where risks may be posed to a project timescale or delivery, as well as liaising with project managers and other project stakeholders including statutory bodies.
Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry changes, best practices, guidelines, legislation, and policy, and providing leadership on the same to other staff members will also be required.
Key Requirements Relevant third level Degree (Level 8 or higher).
A minimum of 7 years' post-qualification experience in environmental project management.
Proficiency in project management methodologies.
Strong understanding of environmental regulations and best practices.
Competent in the use of Microsoft Office.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Applicants should hold a full clean driver's license.
