My client is seeking to hire a dedicated Business Tax Manager to lead and manage a diverse portfolio of business clients, helping them navigate corporation tax, VAT, and employment tax challenges while driving business growth and innovation.
In this pivotal role, you will oversee compliance and advisory services, manage junior team members, and collaborate closely with senior leadership on client and group management tasks. You will play a key role in special assignments and advisory projects, working across SMEs and larger corporates to deliver impactful tax solutions.
Required Skills:
Proven expertise in corporate tax management, including compliance and advisory work
Strong client management skills with experience handling a diverse portfolio of business clients
Ability to oversee and mentor junior staff members effectively
Solid understanding of VAT, employment tax, international tax issues, and R&D tax credits
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with senior management and clients
Strong organizational skills to ensure departmental KPIs and compliance procedures are met
Experience in business development and supporting growth initiatives
Familiarity with special tax advisory projects and complex client engagements
Knowledge of hybrid working environments and adaptability to evolving workplace models
Preferred Education and Experience:
Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CA) and/or tax advisor (CTA) or international equivalent
Significant corporate tax experience within a professional or industry setting
Demonstrated experience managing people and client relationships, including staff appraisals and performance management
Other Requirements:
Commitment to maintaining up-to-date knowledge of tax legislation and professional guidelines
Ability to work within a hybrid model based in Dublin, with flexibility as needed
