Healthcare Assistant-Dublin
Excel Recruitment is looking for experienced and compassionate Healthcare Assistants to join our agency team. This role offers the flexibility to choose from a range of shifts in hospitals and nursing homes across Dublin and Leinster. Job Type: Full-time / Part-time / Flexible shifts available
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide high-quality, person-centred care while upholding the dignity and comfort of each patient.
2. Carry out assigned duties efficiently and to a high standard.
3. Support nursing and medical staff in delivering daily care routines.
4. Assist residents and patients with personal care and day-to-day activities.
5. Work effectively as part of a team or independently under supervision.
Requirements
6. QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support (must include Care Skills and Care of the Elderly).
7. Up-to-date certification in the following (completed within the past 18 months):
8. CPR / Basic Life Support
9. Patient Moving & Handling
10. Infection Prevention & Control
11. Safeguarding of Vulnerable Adults
12. CPI / MAPA (Crisis Prevention or Management of Actual or Potential Aggression)
13. Two recent written references.
14. Knowledge and understanding of HIQA standards.
15. Must currently reside in Ireland with the right to work (visa if applicable).
