**Job Title:** Category Buyer
About the Role:
* To manage the procurement process for a specific category of products or services.
* To work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure supply chain efficiencies and continuity of supply.
What You’ll Do:
• Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans that align with company goals and market trends.
• Maintain knowledge of the category, including market conditions, product trends, supplier landscape.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure long-term partnerships.
• Monitor supplier performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives. • Lead sourcing efforts for assigned categories, including tendering, RFP/RFQ processes. • Ensure sourced products or services are at competitive prices without compromising quality or service levels.
