This is an exciting opportunity for a career in the realm of Industry 4.0. It is a growing company that is shaping the future of automation and robotics. We are looking for an ambitious professional to join a company that designs and manufactures bespoke robotics-based automation solutions. It supplies high-performance production and packaging lines to growing base of international industry-leading clients in the Pharma, Life Sciences, MedTech, and premium Food markets. We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will support daily accounting operations, assist in preparing financial reports, and ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and company policies. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional to gain hands-on experience in accounting and finance. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Ownership of the month end process, including reporting to be used in the sites Monthly Performance Reviews. Full ownership of all areas of the balance sheet. Assist with day-to-day bookkeeping, including payroll and accounts payable and receivable. Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded Technical accounting activities: accruals, prepayments, Work-in-progress, deferred revenue, etc Maintaining the sites asset register ensuring additions, disposals & depreciation are managed correctly. Ownership of key Finance relationships: pension provider, healthcare provider Apply for, process and manage grant applications with potential funding institutions such as Enterprise Ireland. Completion of statutory returns: VAT, VIES & RTDs. Support audits and ensure compliance with accounting regulations. Drive continuous improvement within the Finance Department, around systems, processes & procedures. Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and administrative tasks as required. QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE (DESIRABLE): Part/newly qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA preferable) Minimum 2 years experience in a finance role, Familiarity with payroll processes and accounting systems. Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel in particular). Experience in a manufacturing or engineering project-based environment would be an advantage.
