Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership
Lead and guide the development of analog electronic products, with a strong focus on innovation and product quality
Provide technical direction and oversight to the engineering team
Review and challenge design approaches, ensuring robust engineering standards
Drive the standardisation of engineering processes, tools, and development practices to improve efficiency, consistency, and quality across the R&D function
Maintain sufficient technical depth to engage meaningfully in circuit-level discussions
Help shape the product and technology roadmap, providing leadership on architecture direction and longer-term innovation priorities
People Leadership
Lead and develop a multidisciplinary engineering team
Build a high-performance, collaborative culture
Manage team structure, performance, and long-term capability development
Foster a professional and supportive working environment
Business & Strategic Contribution
Contribute to site-level leadership, including investment decisions and cost management
Align engineering activities with broader business objectives
Support the development and execution of site strategy
Ensure effective delivery of projects within timelines and budget constraints
Candidate Profile
We are looking for a well-rounded technical leader who combines strong engineering fundamentals with proven leadership capability.
Must-Have Experience
Strong background in analog electronics design and development
Deep understanding of analog circuit design, analysis, and system-level behaviour
Hands-on technical background earlier in career (not purely managerial)
Proven experience leading engineering teams over several years
Demonstrated ability to manage performance, structure teams, and build strong professional relationships
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field
Desirable Experience
Experience in power electronics or SMPS (Switched-Mode Power Supplies)
Exposure to related domains such as power conversion, signal conditioning, or sensor-based systems
Experience operating in a senior leadership or site-level role
Understanding of broader product development lifecycle and engineering operations
Useful adjacent depth may include exposure to areas such as EMI/EMC, magnetics, thermal management, reliability engineering, or cost engineering
