GalwayRole SummaryThe Production Operator will be responsible for supporting day-to-day manufacturing operations within the Hygeia Oranmore site. This role involves operating production equipment, handling materials, and ensuring products are manufactured efficiently, safely, and in accordance with company quality standards.The ideal candidate will be reliable, safety conscious, and comfortable working as part of a fast-paced production team.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate production and packaging machinery according to standard operating proceduresAccurately follow production schedules and work instructionsCarry out basic equipment checks and report any faults or maintenance issuesEnsure products meet quality specifications and report deviationsHandle raw materials and finished goods safely and efficientlyAlways maintain high housekeeping and hygiene standardsAdhere to all Health Safety, GMP, and company policiesComplete required documentation and production records accuratelyWork collaboratively with supervisors, quality, and maintenance teamsSupport continuous improvement initiatives within the production areaHealth, Safety QualityFollow all site safety rules, risk assessments, and safe systems of workUse personal protective equipment (PPE) as requiredComply with quality standards relevant to hygiene and chemical productionReport near misses, incidents, or safety concerns promptlyEssentialSkills ExperiencePrevious experience in a manufacturing or production environmentStrong attention to detail and qualityAbility to work both independently and as part of a teamGood communication skills (verbal and written)Willingness to work shift patterns if requiredDesirableExperience in chemical, and non-hazardous manufacturingForklift licence (or willingness to train)Familiarity with GMP or ISO standardsPersonal AttributesReliable and punctualSafety focused mindsetFlexible and adaptablePositive attitude and strong work ethicApplication ProcessPlease apply via our job's portal with a cover letter and up to date CV.
