Field Service Engineer
Serve and support pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities across Ireland, working with critical water treatment systems.
* Mechanical Vapour Compression (MVC) stills
* Reverse Osmosis (RO) systems
* Ultrafiltration units
* Water softening and carbon filtration
* Distribution systems: pumps, valves, heat exchangers, instrumentation
Our ideal candidate will perform routine maintenance tasks as per our guidelines and the regulatory requirements. They will be required to service and commission new systems in addition to handling any unexpected issues that may arise. The successful candidate will work on mission-critical equipment, therefore good problem-solving skills are essential along with mechanical aptitude.
Key Responsibilities:
* Commissioning of new systems including testing and calibration
* Diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues
* Provide technical training and guidance to end-users
* Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP)
* Work closely with clients and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
Requirements:
* Highly skilled and experienced mechanical engineer with sound knowledge of HVAC systems
* Familiarity with cGMP regulations and standards
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* Able to work at heights and confined spaces
* Manual handling skills
Working Hours:
The post is full-time, 5 days a week, with occasional overtime expected during peak periods or for urgent issues requiring immediate attention. Work will involve regular travel throughout Ireland and occasionally to other European countries.
