Colorectal Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNM2 Grade) (Part time (18.5hrs) /Permanent Contract) Applications are invited for above position This is a busy service delivered in close collaboration with the Colorectal Surgeons and wider multidisciplinary team primarily in SVPH but also across the campus to ensure a seamless and comprehensive service including stoma care for patients having colorectal surgery for benign and malignant conditions.
Requirements: Be registered on the general division of the register of nurses maintained by NMBI ( essential) Have 5 years post registration experience in an acute setting (essential) Have a recognised qualification or appropriate experience within the speciality of colorectal and/or stoma care nursing (essential) Have a minimum of 1 year management experience (desirable) Have completed a management training programme (desirable) Have proven clinical and professional ability Have good IT skills with proficiency in the use of all relevant applications.
Have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work on his/her own initiative.
Have excellent communication leadership skills with the ability to positively engage with patients and staff.
Be enthusiastic and highly motivated.
