Key Responsibilities: Job Overview: As a daily operations leader, you play a pivotal role by interacting with multiple businesses across the enterprise. This role leverages subject matter expertise in physical security and safety, crisis management, security technology, event security/logistics or vendor management.
Responsibilities include direct management of facilities, overseeing activities of security operations staff to safeguard premises and employees against risk, enforcing security rules and safety standards, reviewing incidents, ensuring security procedures are enforced, and interacting with other departments on security and safety functions.
What You'll Do:
This role will maintain security protocols, operate manuals, and guides, foster relationships with external agencies, and make sound judgments at a moment's notice to mitigate risks.
You will maintain corporate assets, work with security & safety technology, follow security and safety instructions, and have relevant experience in a private/public sector security environment.
Experience in working with security & safety technology is required. The ideal candidate will be flexible to work on call off hours/weekends and have professional security certifications.
Requirements:
A seasoned security officer with a Bachelor's degree/Associate's degree plus equivalent work experience/High School diploma plus equivalent work experience, with experience in adhering current security protocols, operations manuals, and guides.
Proven ability to foster relationships and interface with external agencies, demonstrated experience in making sound judgements at a moment's notice, and experience in working with security & safety technology.
Relevant experience in a private/public sector security environment and professional security certifications are also required.
