We are currently looking for a skilled and dedicated Sous Chef to join our culinary team in one of Galway's busiest dining venues.
As a key member of the kitchen team, you will be responsible for overseeing daily kitchen operations, ensuring that food is prepared to the highest standards, and that service runs smoothly during busy periods.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist the Head Chef with menu planning, development, and daily specials.
* Supervise and manage kitchen staff, ensuring smooth and efficient kitchen operations.
* Ensure the highest standards of food quality and presentation are met at all times.
* Oversee the preparation and cooking of dishes, managing your section during service.
* Assist with stock control, ordering, and maintaining kitchen inventory.
* Maintain and ensure proper use of kitchen equipment.
**Requirements:**
* Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a senior kitchen role in a high-volume kitchen.
* Strong leadership skills and experience managing a team.
* Excellent knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene standards.
* Able to work under pressure and maintain a calm and efficient working environment.
