About the Role As Project Manager, you will lead the full lifecycle of one large project or several concurrent sites, ensuring they are delivered safely, on programme, and within budget.
Youll work closely with clients, subcontractors, the design team, and senior leadership to drive performance and uphold a strong commitment to quality and safety.
This is a hands-on, leadership-focused role suited to someone who enjoys autonomy, problem-solving, and building high-performing teams.
What Youll Be Doing Leading the successful delivery of projects from early planning through to handover.
Managing relationships with clients, subcontractors, engineers, QS, and site teams.
Overseeing design development, RFIs, coordination workshops, and technical resolution.
Driving weekly work programmes and producing clear progress reports.
Ensuring key milestones, quality standards, and commercial objectives are achieved.
Working closely with the Contracts Manager to align programme and budget.
Reinforcing a strong Health & Safety culture and striving for an accident-free site.
Chairing weekly management meetings and coordinating cross-functional communication.
Managing day-to-day site operations and supporting your team to perform at their best.
What You Bring Proven experience delivering construction or civil engineering projects on time and within budget.
Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
Excellent communication, leadership, and team-development abilities.
Highly organised with strong planning and reporting skills.
Technical proficiency and a practical, solutions-focused mindset.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Qualifications & Experience Degree or Diploma in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.
Trade background or equivalent practical experience is an advantage.
Additional training in contractual management or similar areas is desirable.
Demonstrated commitment to CPD.
Experience in a similar Project Management role within construction or civil engineering.
