Job Description:
We are seeking a Business Development Manager to drive organic revenue growth via prospecting tools and techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
* Identify leads through cold-calling, networking, events, social media, and other sources. Develop relationships with executives/decision-makers in targeted sectors.
* Evaluate the company's business model, develop leads into pursuits, and close pursuits to deliver IT Solutions (such as IT Business Solutions, Cloud Services, Microsoft Services like Office 365 and Azure, and IT Security).
* Leverage industry trends and client challenges to create compelling value propositions and innovative solutions.
* Support project proposal development, gather data for an effective sales process.
* Qualify, develop, and advance opportunities in new and existing customer accounts through demand generation efforts.
Requirements:
* At least 5 years of business development experience in the IT and/or IT Solutions sector, or electronics industry, with a proven track record of success and year-on-year incremental sales performance.
* B2B environment experience.
* A strong network and contact base within the region, leveraging it to develop new business in relevant sectors.
* This is a 'hunter' role; qualified candidates must provide examples of delivering on business outcomes.
* Develop Sales strategy, maintain a comprehensive sales pipeline.
* Strong understanding of social media landscapes and platforms, CRM tools.
* Excellent communication skills, dynamic interpersonal skills.
* Entrepreneurial skills, ability to see and capitalize on opportunities.
* Proven ability to interpret sales metrics/targets, deliver accordingly.
* Sufficiently strong technical attributes to determine project feasibility prior to capital/resource commitment.
* Ability to interpret customer requirements into project specifications, liaise with other teams to secure business.
* Proactive approach, multitasking, strong attention to detail.
* Fully clean driving license, car ownership desirable.
