Job Description
Main Purpose of Role
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Health and Safety Advisor to inform and maintain standards of safety, health, and well-being within a highly complex & regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Advise on overall compliance in matters of HSSEQ in accordance with policy and legislation
* Provide leadership in the delivery of H&S delivery standards
* Act as a source of expert technical advice
* Serve as a role model in ensuring the highest standards of H&S are adopted
* Provide assistance and support to the H&S lead
Qualifications
Qualifications
We would expect candidates to demonstrate the following:
* Tangible experience of driving best practice in technical activities, processes, policies and standards
* Good influencing skills to manage and motivate teams in support of complex programmes
* Ability to coordinate and organize multiple sources of reporting inputs / performance data and deliver project / programme reports as required
* An ability to work effectively in a team environment
* Excellent communication (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
* Ability to govern and drive outcomes to ensure high quality service
* Experience working with Irish construction health and safety requirements
* Experience of the design and delivery of complex projects
* Prior experience working within safety critical environments such as metro / rail
