Business Development and Execution – The Blink Group (TBG)Purpose of the Role

The Business Development and Execution Manager will be a pivotal leader within The Blink Group, responsible for driving commercial growth, deepening client partnerships, and ensuring operational excellence across all projects. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this role will deliver the commercial strategy for the Republic of Ireland and scope opportunities in Northern Ireland.

This is a leadership appointment, suited to a proven commercial operator who thrives in fast-paced, creative environments, and who can inspire teams while delivering measurable growth and unforgettable client experiences. Evening and weekend work will be required to deliver Client events and at seasonal peaks.

The role involves traveling to clients nationwide and preparing and presenting sales presentations.

Key Responsibilities

Commercial Growth & Delivery

· Lead revenue growth across ROI and NI, building a sustainable and profitable pipeline of work.

· Own the end-to-end sales process: prospecting, pitching, contract negotiation, and closing.

· Track and report on commercial KPIs, ensuring margin, profitability, and cashflow are met.

· Identify and pursue new business opportunities in key verticals (brands, agencies, retail, experiential).

· Engage state and regional bodies to secure contracts for work and grant funding

Client Leadership & Experience (Working with Company Directors)

· Act as the senior point of contact for key clients, ensuring every engagement delivers "WOW."

· Partner with clients to understand their business drivers and translate these into creative, commercial solutions.

· Champion client retention, loyalty, and advocacy through outstanding service and delivery.

· Develop account growth plans, working cross-functionally with production and warehouse teams.

Operational Excellence

· Work with Production and other leaders to guarantee projects are delivered on time, on budget, and on brand and get involved in the execution at key seasonal times.

· Oversee resource allocation across client projects, ensuring teams are supported and efficiency is maximised and track the project phases and milestones.

· Anticipate operational challenges (seasonal peaks, multiple locations) and plan accordingly.

· Ensure compliance with all health & safety, financial, and regulatory requirements.

· Be an active part of the event execution team at key seasonal times.

Leadership & Team Development

· Foster a culture of accountability, creativity, and collaboration.

· Work closely with the wider leadership team to align commercial, operational, and creative strategies.

Skills & Experience

· 5+ years' senior commercial experience in events, experiential, agency, or related creative sectors.

· Proven track record of winning, growing, and retaining major accounts.

· Strong financial acumen: forecasting, budgeting, margin management.

· Excellent relationship-building skills with C-suite clients, agencies, and partners.

· Deep understanding of event/experiential production cycles and operational realities.

· Confident leader with experience managing multi-disciplinary teams.

· Resilient, adaptable, and energised by fast-moving, seasonal business rhythms.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: €50,000.00-€70,000.00 per year

Education:

* Bachelor's (preferred)

Experience:

* Account management: 5 years (required)

Willingness to travel:

* 50% (preferred)
