Technical Microbiologist
Catalyx seeks a highly skilled and experienced technical microbiologist to join our team. This role requires strong knowledge of microbiological methods, including Endotoxin, Bioburden and Microbial Growth Promotion.
Key Responsibilities:
* Project Execution: Execute projects related to Microbiological methods/ Technology ensuring timely delivery and effective communication with stakeholders.
* Troubleshooting and Optimization: Provide technical expertise to QC Micro team and external teams, assist in trouble shooting and optimization of methods.
* Document Review and Approval: Review and approve documents such as standard operating procedures, protocols, reports and track-wise documents.
* Compliance: Compliant to GXP and safety and environmental standards.
* Investigations: Conduct and document out of specification / out of trend result investigations.
* Safety and Compliance: Develop and Demonstrate an active approach to safety, industrial hygiene, environmental and regulatory compliance.
* Leadership: Lead and implement initiatives that add value to the QC and site operations.
* Method Improvements: Key contributor of out-of-specification/out-of-trend result investigations. Method improvements for Endotoxin, Bioburden and Microbial Growth Promotion methods.
Qualifications:
* Degree in Microbiology or related science.
* Experience in GMP QC Microbiology.
* Strong knowledge of Endotoxin, Bioburden and Growth Promotion methods.
* Ability to troubleshoot and optimise microbiological methods.
* Experience with OOS/OOT investigations and GMP documentation.
* Understanding of GxP, safety and environmental compliance.
* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
