IT Support Specialist - 36 month contract
Location: Dublin West
5 days onsite per week
Service Desk Analyst to join our team and provide top-tier support for a user base of 100-150+ people. This role is heavily weighted towards application support and identity and access management, making it a great fit for someone with minimal hardware experience but strong technical problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
* Incident Management and Resolution: Act as the first and second line of support, leveraging your ITIL knowledge to log, prioritize, and resolve application-related issues efficiently.
* Identity and Access Management (IAM): Manage user accounts, permissions, and security controls using specialized IAM systems, including deep experience with SSAM (Specific System/Software Asset Management, or similar IAM/SSO system).
* Application Support: Troubleshoot and resolve complex application issues, focusing on software functionality rather than hardware repair.
* Desktop Engineering Support (L1): Provide foundational support akin to a Level 1 Desktop Engineer, managing the end-user support environment.
* Laptop Imaging: Assist with the managed imaging and deployment of user laptops, ensuring standardized and efficient setups.
* Asset Management: Participate in software and user asset management processes, including managing user profiles and access permissions.
* Customer-Facing Excellence: Provide empathetic, clear, and professional support to all users, ensuring a positive and effective service experience.
Experience required
* Proven customer-facing service experience.
* Familiarity with ITIL principles, particularly Incident Management.
* Solid experience with Identity and Access Management systems and processes.
* Essential experience with SSCM
* Prior experience in managing or assisting with laptop imaging.
* Comfortable taking on technical tasks with a focus on application support and system configuration.
* Strong aptitude for troubleshooting and resolving application-related issues.
