Responsibilities
* Strategic Leadership: Develop and lead the organization’s technology control strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements; establish a cohesive framework for technology control design, testing, and automation; serve as a key advisor to senior leadership on technology risk and control matters.
* Technology Control Design: Lead the design of comprehensive technology controls to address risks; collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed controls within technology processes, systems, and infrastructure; identify control gaps and develop solutions to mitigate risks effectively.
* Testing and Assurance: Oversee the development and execution of rigorous control testing programs to validate effectiveness and adherence to standards; ensure the timely identification, escalation, and remediation of control deficiencies; partner with internal audit and external assurance teams to support technology control reviews and audits.
* Automation of Controls: Drive the implementation of advanced automation solutions to improve control efficiency and reduce manual effort; leverage technologies to streamline testing, monitoring, and reporting processes; ensure automated controls are robust, scalable, and integrated into the technology landscape.
* Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing team of technology control and risk professionals; foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement; provide mentorship and development opportunities for team members.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Information Technology, IT Security, Mathematics, Risk Management, or a related field
* Graduate degree preferred
* Minimum of 12-15+ years proven related experience with 7-10 years experience as part of a leadership team
