Job Opportunity in Surgical Orthopaedics
We have an exciting opportunity for experienced staff nurses seeking to progress their career. Our client, a well-established private hospital in Cork city, is looking for a Clinical Nurse Manager 1 to join their busy surgical orthopaedic ward.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role within the multidisciplinary team to lead a team of staff in implementing and providing high-quality patient care coordination and driving the management of activity and resources within the clinical area.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Registered General Nurse on the live register with The Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI)
* Demonstrable commitment to patient safety and quality
* Three years post-graduate acute care nursing experience on a busy surgical ward
* Orthopaedic nursing experience desirable
* Flexibility and ability to meet the challenges of coordinating and delivering orthopaedic surgical services
* Leadership and change management skills
* Excellent knowledge of contemporary nursing practice and skills
A management qualification or educational preparation to degree level is desirable. Preceptorship qualification and experience are also preferable. Eligible candidates must be able to work in Ireland.
