Overview
We're looking for a results-driven Digital Marketing Executive to join our marketing team at The Killarney Park and The Ross Hotels. This role plays a crucial part in executing and optimising our digital marketing strategies, working closely with the Marketing & Communications Manager to drive brand awareness, increase online visibility, and grow revenue across all departments.
You'll be responsible for managing digital advertising campaigns, enhancing SEO performance, analysing data insights, and collaborating across teams to ensure a unified and effective online presence.
This is a full time property-based role.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Campaign Management
* Plan, launch, manage, and optimise paid advertising campaigns in conjunction with our third-party partners across Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Meta Ad Manager, display networks, and other channels.
* Monitor campaign performance and adjust strategies to maximise ROI.
* Collaborate with agencies and third-party vendors to deliver integrated campaigns.
Performance Monitoring & Analytics
* Track and report on key performance metrics using Google Analytics, Google Search Console and Avvio reporting tools.
* Provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve results.
* Present regular performance updates to management.
SEO & Content Strategy
* Implement on-page, off-page, and technical SEO strategies to enhance organic search performance in conjunction with our third-party providers.
* Create and optimise content (blogs, newsletters, promotional emails) ensuring consistency with brand tone.
* Leverage Revinate for CRM, guest engagement, and email marketing campaigns.
* Ensure compliance with GDPR and data privacy standards across all digital channels.
* Maintain accessibility and inclusivity in digital content and campaigns.
Website & Technical Management
* Serve as CMS administrator for both hotel websites, including Avvio CMS and Craft CMS.
* Manage OTA back-end systems and extranets (e.g., Expedia) to ensure content accuracy and brand consistency.
* Work with Synxis channel management system (knowledge and experience preferable).
* Coordinate with designers and developers to enhance user experience.
* Maintain and update image/content libraries across platforms (CMS, OTAs, Ice Portal, TripAdvisor, Leonardo).
Brand & Reputation Management
* Monitor and manage online reputation across Revinate Guest Feedback, Tripadvisor,, Expedia, and other review platforms, coordinating responses with hotel management.
* Maintain and update chatbot systems.
* Drive initiatives that enhance brand recognition and customer engagement.
Guest Communication Systems
· Oversee P3 and Revinate guest email automation ensuring templates are kept up to date, on-brand, and integrated with operational needs.
· Collaborate with the reservations and front office teams to align guest communication flows with the customer journey.
Metasearch & Distribution
* Manage and optimise visibility on metasearch platforms (Google Hotel Ads, Trivago, etc.) to increase direct bookings.
* Collaborate with the revenue team to ensure digital marketing campaigns align with pricing, distribution, and revenue strategies.
Systems & Cross-Departmental Integration
* Support digital projects with integration of hospitality systems, including Oracle Opera Cloud PMS.
* Collaborate with revenue, reservations, and F&B teams to align marketing with operational goals.
Strategic Development
* Stay up to date with industry trends, digital tools, and emerging technologies.
* Identify new opportunities to support business growth.
* Assist in developing annual digital marketing strategies and budgets.
Requirements & Qualifications
Essential Skills & Experience
* 2+ years' hands-on digital marketing experience with a proven track record in SEO/SEM, paid advertising, social media, and email marketing.
* Strong working knowledge of:
* Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Google Analytics, Google Search Console
* Meta Business Suite, particularly Meta Ad Manager
* and Expedia extranet systems
* Synxis channel management system (knowledge/use preferable)
* An understanding of basic HTML/CSS for website updates and optimisation.
* Skilled in Canva / Adobe Creative Suite/Photoshop for content and design.
* Ability to create compelling, SEO-optimised content with exceptional copywriting skills.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Desirable
* Degree or certification in Digital Marketing, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
* Experience in the hospitality or tourism industry.
* Familiarity with CRM strategies, graphic design, and video content creation.
* Experience working with Avvio CMS, Craft CMS, Revinate CRM, P3, Oracle Opera Cloud PMS
