We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead a development team and manage the transition from a legacy Visual Basic environment to a modern C#/.
NET technology stack.
The role requires strong technical understanding, hands‑on project delivery experience, and the ability to coordinate cross‑functional stakeholders during a complex system modernization.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage software development projects focused on migrating legacy VB applications to C#/.
NET
Plan, track, and deliver project milestones, timelines, and budgets
Act as the primary liaison between developers, technical leadership, and business stakeholders
Support architecture and design discussions to ensure scalable, maintainable solutions
Identify risks and dependencies related to legacy system modernization and manage mitigation plans
Ensure adherence to SDLC best practices, coding standards, and quality controls
Required Skills & Experience
Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager or similar role in software development
Strong understanding of C#,.
NET/.
NET Core, and legacy Visual Basic environments
Experience managing application modernization or technology migration projects
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Experience managing distributed or U.
S.-based development teams
Preferred Qualifications
Background in software development or engineering
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure or AWS)
PMP, Scrum Master, or similar certification
