We offer a full suite of Primary Care Medical Services from ante-natal to older years.Job descriptionWe are looking for an enthusiastic, professional, team player to join our reception staff in our recently established GP surgery on a part time - full time basis.Responsibilities will includeMeeting and greeting patients, providing a great first impressionBooking and amending appointments, answering the phone, updating patient recordsSupporting the clinical team with the smooth running of the practiceHandling payments and reconciliationAccessing sensitive information whilst maintaining patient confidentialityFollowing policies and procedures, identifying, and collaborating with the team to implement any changes requiredLight cleaning dutiesPosition Requirements:Excellent interpersonal, communication and telephone skillsComputer literate in Word/Excel/E-mailExperience of computerised medical practice is desirable but not essentialWillingness to be a team player and an ability to work on own initiativeExcellent organisational skillsFlexibilityKey Skills:Patient FocusThe ability to remain calm, professional and polite in dealing with our patients and colleaguesPersonal IntegrityBe professional in your approach to your workBe honest and reliableBe trustworthy and respectfulThe surgery operates from 8.00am - 6pm. Monday - Friday. The days of work will normally be fixed. All candidates should have some reception experience. The ability to multi task and work in a high-pressure environment will be beneficial.
