Founded in 1840, Bewley's is Ireland's leading coffee and tea company. We've been perfecting the craft of tea and coffee making for many generations, from our humble beginnings in a little shop on Sycamore Alley in Dublin, Ireland, to the home and heart of our brand, our Grafton Street Café, right through to our present-day operations in Ireland.

ABOUT THE ROLE…

Main Purpose of the position:
To ensure all orders for foodservice, retail and export customers are picked correctly and on time.
Principal Qualifications:
* The ability to be trained on JDE computer management system and RF Smart handheld device.
* The ability to be trained on various types of forklifts, one of which climbs to a height of eight meters.
* The ability to accurately pick and assemble orders in the required time frame.
Main Duties / Responsibilities:
* To carry out all reasonable instructions as given to you by your supervisor and team leader.
* To pick and assemble all orders via JDE / RF Smart handheld device for all customers.
* To transfer tea and coffee finished items from production ensuring all the correct quantities are entered onto JDE.
* To carry out all cycle counts as required based on the relevant frequency that has been set out.
* To carry out annual stocktakes per location within the logistics department.
* To operate forklift trucks in a safe manner in the way in which you have been trained.
* To attend all training sessions as scheduled for you.
* To store away finished items into the correct racking location using JDE / RF Smart handheld
* To work in a way that you have been trained and be responsible for your own safety in the workplace, ensuring you only operate machinery in which you have received training.
* To wear the correct PPE in which you have been supplied.
* To be aware of all safety hazards within the logistics area and all areas of the site reporting them immediately to your manager.
* To work in a safe manner observing all safety regulations.
* To maintain a high standard of hygiene in respect of logistics area and self.
* To carry out any housekeeping duties that have been assigned to you in relation to the logistics area and the outside yard.
* To cover any of the areas in the logistics area which will include the following, Branch Plant 2001 main warehouse, Branch Plant 2003 which includes raw coffee tipping area, packaging stores and goods in and out.
* To perform any reasonable task that your manager requests

Due to the nature of the business, additional duties may be assigned from time to time.
