**Childcare Centre Manager Position**
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Centre Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of a childcare centre. The role involves leading and inspiring a staff team, implementing best practice standards, and promoting the development of individual children.
Key Responsibilities:
* Developing and managing daily operations to ensure a safe and developmentally appropriate environment for children.
* Demonstrating deep knowledge of children's age and stage-appropriate holistic needs and development.
* Raising standards in early learning and care by role-modeling best practice to an outstanding level.
* Implementing company policies, procedures, health and safety/risk assessments as stipulated in the Childcare Regulations.
* Effective people and business management skills, covering all aspects of the role.
* Implementing child protection policies in line with Children First requirements and guidelines.
Requirements:
* A minimum of FETAC / QQI Level 6 in Early Childhood Care and Education or equivalent.
* A minimum of five years in the childcare field, with at least two years in a management role within the sector.
* A strong passion for the needs and development of the individual child.
* Full clean EU driver's license and access to a vehicle.
* Ability to liaise with parents, guardians, and families, building parental partnerships.
* Ability to line manage and supervise a team, supporting their continuous personal development.
* Effective communication skills in a professional manner.
* Understanding of all guidelines set out by TUSLA.
