OverviewAssociate Director - Energy sector at Turner & Townsend, based in Cork. Role focuses on growth and expansion of the Turner & Townsend footprint in the Southern region. As an Associate Director in the Energy and Natural Resources division, you will play a leadership role in driving project delivery, business development, client relationship management and team development.Duties And ResponsibilitiesIdentify and pursue new business opportunities within the ENR sector, including proposal development and client presentations.Build and maintain long-term client relationships through quality of service delivery and responsiveness to client needs.Lead the development and delivery of complex projects/programmes.Define, develop, interface, and deliver complex multi-package projects safely while managing time, budget, quality, and KPIs to ensure successful completion.Execute the programme, integrating multiple contracts into a well-functioning, collaborative outcome.Manage, coach and inspire teams to ensure high-quality service delivery.Manage commission development including framework negotiations, commission setup and financial control and reporting.Foster, sustain, and oversee strong relationships with internal key stakeholders, including government entities.Own commercial and contractual matters in close collaboration with commercial, procurement and legal departments.Qualifications(MBA, MSc or equivalent) in Engineering with business or economics specialization preferred.Chartered in a relevant profession/discipline.15+ years experience in management consulting or a combination of consulting and industry experience in the energy and natural resources sector.Strong communication, negotiation and conflict management skills at management and operational levels.Deep knowledge of ENR sector dynamics, including regulatory frameworks, sustainability initiatives and digital solutions.Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated success in business development and account management.Willingness to travel when required within Ireland.Additional InformationFull time, permanentCompetitive remuneration and attractive range of benefitsOpportunity to work on impactful and innovative projectsCareer development opportunities both in Ireland and globallyOpportunity to work with a diverse group of talented and collaborative colleaguesEqual OpportunityTurner & Townsend is an equal opportunity employer.
