Senior Technical AccountantTechnical Reporting team are responsible for the accounting and reporting of the Group's non-life (re)insurance and retrocession. This includes the Group's various legal entities including in Ireland, Bermuda, USA, and Singapore.The role will report directly to the Head of Technical Reporting and form part of a large team.ResponsibilitiesOversee daily reinsurance and retrocession accounting operations across multiple jurisdictions to ensure timely, high-quality reporting.Drive process optimization through automation, standardization, and innovative tools to boost efficiency.Develop robust controls and documentation for strong governance in technical financial reporting.Analyse Group financial results and support FP&A and entity CFOs with their reporting needs.Collaborate with underwriting teams on contract accounting and resolve complex issues with policy experts.Skills & ExperienceQualified accountant with 3+ years PQE in reinsurance financial reporting or Big 4 reinsurance focus.Expertise in reinsurance contract accounting and retrocession technicalities.Advanced MS Excel proficiency; experience with Alteryx/Power BI advantageous.Proven transformation leadership with strong analytical and organizational skills.Excellent communication and relationship-building across global teams.Motivated problem-solver with attention to detail and time-sensitive project management ability.
