At EY we are seeking a Solution Architect to join our Technology Strategy & Transformation team, helping clients transform through technology strategy, architecture and advisory services.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and document architectural designs for software solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical standards.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and ensure the architecture aligns with the overall technology strategy.
Support the planning, execution and delivery of engagements including technology transformations and related services.
Work effectively as a team member, sharing responsibility, providing support, maintaining communication with team members and leadership on progress.
Build strong internal relationships within EY Technology Consulting and across other service lines.
Support practice growth through development of relevant industry and technology thought‑leadership material.
Ensure compliance with EY quality and risk management processes across projects and other interactions.
Ensure strict compliance with workplace policies and EY Global and Information Security policies.
Skills & Attributes for Success
Undergraduate or graduate degree.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in software development, with 2 years in a solution architect, platform architect or similar role.
Good understanding of software development methodologies, architecture patterns (e.g., microservices, SOA), and design principles.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Ideal Experience
Proficiency in multiple programming languages (Java, C#, Python, JavaScript) and familiarity with frameworks and libraries.
Experience with data and API integration technologies (REST, SOAP, JSON).
Experience in enterprise applications, ERPs and CRM systems across multiple vendors.
Experience implementing information security governance and technical security controls.
Experience in AI/GenAI or emerging technologies.
Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
Ability to create and maintain comprehensive documentation of architectural designs, technical specifications, and implementation guidelines.
Relevant certifications (AWS, TOGAF, Azure, Agile, Scrum, ITIL).
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, capable of evaluating complex technology challenges and developing innovative solutions.
Effective written and verbal business communication skills.
