Business Development Manager – Pharma ServicesLocation:Ireland (Hybrid / On-site options)Sector:Pharmaceutical Services / Life SciencesEmployment Type:Full-timeAbout the CompanyOur client is a specialist provider ofpharmaceutical regulatory, quality and compliance services, supporting global pharma and biotech companies entering the EU and UK markets.Role OverviewThis is a strategic sales role suited to someone who understands thebiopharma ecosystem, can navigate complex technical conversations, and enjoys building long-term relationships with decision-makers in Quality, Regulatory Affairs, CMC, Clinical Operations, and Supply Chain.You will be responsible for identifying new clients, expanding existing accounts, and promoting a portfolio of critical services.Key ResponsibilitiesNew Business DevelopmentIdentify, qualify and engage pharma/biotech prospects in EU/UK and international markets.Build a strong pipeline across clinical-stage biotechs, CDMOs, CROs and pharma manufacturers.Deliver consultative, technical discussions on importation, batch release, quality, and regulatory processes.Client Relationship ManagementDevelop deep, credible relationships with Quality Directors, Regulatory Heads, CMC Leads, and Clinical Supply Managers.Understand client needs and propose compliant, value-driven solutions.Manage and grow strategic accounts through trust, reliability and scientific understanding.Commercial & Strategic DutiesPrepare proposals, RFP responses, service agreements and project outlines.Represent the company at life sciences conferences, industry events, webinars and client visits.Provide market intelligence, competitor insights and client feedback to senior leadership.Work closely with QP, QA, regulatory and operations teams to ensure smooth delivery of services.Ideal Background & ExperienceWe are seeking candidates withcredible experience in the life sciences / pharma sector, ideally in one or more of the following areas:Industry Experience (strong advantage)CDMO / CMO business developmentCRO or clinical trial supply salesPharmaceutical logistics, importation or clinical distributionGMP/GDP compliance servicesRegulatory affairs or quality consultancyAnalytical/lab services, QC/QA solutions salesTechnical CompetenceFamiliarity with terms such as GMP, GDP, MIA, IMP, QP release, CMC, audits, deviations, CAPA, stability, batch records, importation pathways.Able to engage professionally with scientists, QA managers, regulatory experts, and clinical supply professionals.General SkillsProven B2B sales success in long sales cyclesStrong technical communication skillsRelationship builder with consultative sales styleHighly organised, self-driven, and comfortable working autonomouslyAbility to travel for client meetings and industry eventsWhat's on OfferCompetitive base salary + strong performance-based commissionOpportunity to work with a respected leader in the pharmaceutical compliance sectorClear growth path within a rapidly expanding companyExposure to high-level clients across Europe, UK, US and global marketsCollaborative culture and strong operational support from regulatory & quality teams
