ABOUT THE ROLE

This role involves matching opportunities with our Employer Partners to Generation Learners, reporting to the Head of Placements for Generation UK & Ireland. It suits someone passionate about supporting diverse individuals into employment and inspiring employers. It includes hands-on recruitment, relationship management, and offers a great opportunity to understand organizations across the UK.

Your main focus will be to enable learners to secure employment through Generation-sourced vacancies and self-apply opportunities by understanding employer role requirements and matching them with suitable talent. You will work with our Senior Strategic Account Manager to develop long-lasting employer relationships and embed Generation's services as their preferred talent sourcing partner.

You will also inspire people to achieve life-changing careers by supporting them to connect with employers, prepare for interviews, and onboard into new roles.


RESPONSIBILITIES & TARGETS

Targets within role:

* Placement Target - to place Generation graduates into work through both self-placement and Generation-sourced vacancies.
* Conversion Target - to successfully fill Generation-sourced vacancies.


REQUIREMENTS

Main responsibilities include:


1. Graduate management

* Provide high-quality career advice, one-to-one and via workshops.
* Maintain high engagement levels with the cohort.
* Understand graduates’ skills and preferences to match them with opportunities.
* Support Strategic Account Managers in employer-learner connection events.
* Prepare learners for matched opportunities, including mock interviews and feedback.
* Promote job opportunities via Microsoft Teams.
* Track job retention and gather success stories.
* Offer pastoral support to graduates.


2. Account Management & growth

* Manage employer relationships post-graduation, ensuring interview and feedback processes are in place.
* Support funding requirements by tracking interviews, placements, and collecting evidence.
* Handle escalations from employers or cohorts regarding interviews/placements.
* Organize employer feedback, case studies, and interviews.
* Secure ongoing employer commitment by converting vacancies to hires.


3. Contribute to wider organization success

* Track placements and improve processes for better outcomes.
* Represent Generation at key events with stakeholders.
* Contribute to development and account management processes.
* Feed employer insights back to internal teams.
* Develop ROI frameworks, tools, and data collection processes for roles and employers.


4. Safeguarding

* Respond to safeguarding concerns according to policy, involving professionals as needed.
* Record concerns in the safeguarding log as per policy.


EXPERIENCE

We believe you'll need the following experience to succeed:

* Recruitment experience, especially screening and evaluating candidates. Agency experience is a plus.
* Strong communication skills with stakeholders, including building client relationships.
* Experience managing senior stakeholder relationships.
* Ability to connect with and inspire young people.
* Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and reporting.
* Experience working in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments, with independence.
