This is a key strategic role within our preconstruction team, focused on major developments including data centres, industrial facilities, advanced manufacturing plants, and other mission-critical environments.You will take ownership of the preconstruction lifecycle—from early engagement and tender strategy through to design coordination, technical review, cost planning, and the seamless handover to construction teams. This position is ideal for a commercially astute M&E leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is motivated by delivering exceptional technical solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the M&E preconstruction function on major projects across Ireland.Develop project execution plans, tender strategies, and bid submissions for large-scale data centres and industrial builds.Oversee design development, ensuring alignment with project requirements, client expectations, and industry best practice.Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including design partners, supply chain, consultants, and internal stakeholders.Provide detailed M&E technical input, value engineering solutions, and buildability advice.Manage risk identification, programme development, and early procurement strategies.Prepare and analyse M&E cost plans, budgets, and tender submissions.Support client engagement and presentation activities throughout the preconstruction phase.Ensure smooth and thorough handover to the construction delivery teams.About YouProven experience as a Preconstruction Manager, Bid Manager, Technical Services Manager, or Senior M&E Engineer working on large-scale MEP packages.Strong background in mechanical and electrical systems for major projects—data centres experience highly desirable.Excellent technical knowledge and ability to interpret complex design documentation.Strong commercial awareness and understanding of procurement routes, cost planning, and risk management.Comfortable leading multidisciplinary teams and coordinating with senior stakeholders.Strong communication, presentation, and leadership skills.Ability to work across multiple projects and drive high-quality outcomes within deadlines.What We OfferCompetitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.Opportunity to work on high-profile, mission-critical projects across Ireland.Long-term career progression within a growing and respected contractor.Collaborative and innovative working environment with strong technical teams.How to ApplyIf you are a driven M&E professional looking to take the lead on some of Ireland's most exciting major projects, we would love to hear from you.
