Base pay range
$18,000.00/yr - $24,000.00/yr
Akademische Unterstützung GmbH - an international product IT startup in the field of educational projects. We provide comprehensive support to students and teachers, offering a wide range of academic services in the DACH market (Germany, Austria, Switzerland).
The Role
* Write original academic papers (essays, reports, case studies, theses, etc.) on IT-related topics, including computer science, cybersecurity, data analysis, and software engineering
* Conduct thorough research using credible academic and industry sources
* Follow academic writing standards, use proper citation styles (APA, MLA, IEEE, etc.), and maintain clear structure and argumentation
* Edit and revise content based on feedback from clients or editors
* Ensure timely delivery and 100% originality (no AI-generated or plagiarized content)
Ideal Profile
* Excellent command of the German language (C1–C2 level) — required
* Strong research and academic writing skills, especially on technical subjects
* Solid understanding of IT concepts, technologies, and academic expectations
* Prior experience in academic or technical writing is a plus
* High attention to detail and ability to follow complex guidelines
* Commitment to ethical writing and originality
