Sustainability Officer - On-site/Hybrid
We are seeking a passionate and driven Sustainability Officer to lead and enhance our organization's sustainability initiatives across all ESG pillars. This role will support the integration of sustainable practices into daily operations, with a strong focus on environmental performance, reporting, and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead the execution and development of the company-wide sustainability strategy.
2. Track and report on GHG emissions, manage carbon footprint data, and liaise with external consultants to support Science Based Targets.
3. Prepare for CSRD compliance through extensive cross-departmental data collection and analysis.
4. Engage with internal teams and clients to align sustainability goals and drive progress.
5. Monitor and reduce food waste in collaboration with kitchen teams.
6. Chair the Sustainability Steering Committee and report progress to senior leadership.
7. Support external sustainability certifications and partnerships (e.g., Origin Green, BITCI).
8. Draft and implement sustainable policies and assess their impact.
9. Conduct research and provide data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.
Requirements:
10. Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Sustainability, Environmental Science, Engineering).
11. Experience with carbon reporting and GHG emissions (Scope 1–3).
12. Knowledge of sustainability frameworks and Science Based Targets.
13. Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
14. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analysis tools.
Preferred:
15. Experience in the food, catering, or hospitality sector.
16. Familiarity with CSRD, ESG reporting, and sustainability certifications.
