Hours: 19.5 hours per week (flexible working hours)
Contract: Community Employment Scheme – Part‑time

Job Description
The Finn Valley CE Project is currently recruiting for an Environmental Worker to support community‑based environmental and maintenance work in the Finn Valley area. This is a great opportunity to gain valuable experience, contribute to your local community, and access training opportunities to help you progress into further employment.
Key Duties
General environmental upkeep (e.g., litter control, planting, weeding, strimming, etc.)
Maintenance of community spaces (parks, walkways, green areas)
Supporting recycling and sustainability initiatives
Assisting with seasonal projects (e.g., tree planting, clean‑up days)
Collaborating with local community groups and supervisors
Following health and safety guidelines at all times
Eligibility
Be aged 21 or over
Be in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for at least 12 months or be a qualifying adult on a claim
Meet CE scheme eligibility criteria (check with your local Intreo office)
Training Provided
Participants will have the opportunity to undertake certified and on‑the‑job training to enhance their skills and future employment prospects.
