Job Overview:
The Site Supervisor will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth implementation of projects within the Capital Investment Division.
Key responsibilities include providing site supervision support, project governance & assurance, and management of projects undertaken by the business unit.
Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining working relationships with key stakeholders, including Programme Managers, Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, Planners, Task Leaders, external consultants, contractors, and agencies.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide site supervision support in terms of project site controls and reporting
* Manage civil building/demolition works/SET structures
* Ensure occupational safety of all activities within the Projects Under control
* Review site safety performance
* Assist in providing effective site management of projects
* Execution of the requirements of your safety responsibility statement
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 2 years relevant site supervision & project engineering experience in railway or construction engineering environment.
A degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent is also required.
Strong leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are essential, as well as excellent understanding of Health & Safety issues in a construction environment.
Desirable Qualifications:
* Valid PTS (Personal Track Safety)
* Valid Safe Pass card
* Experience of working on a Railway Construction Project
