A global creative advertising agency is seeking to hire an Accounts Assistant to join its Dublin finance team.
The organisation operates internationally with offices in Dublin, Boston, and Vancouver, supporting a diverse client base across consumer, B2B, and healthcare sectors.
The Dublin office employs approximately 40 people within a creative, open-plan environment, with the wider group employing over 130 staff globally.
Finance leadership is based in the Boston office, where the CFO and finance team are located, while the successful candidate will work closely with the Finance Manager in Dublin.
This opportunity has arisen due to a team member relocating after three years with the business.
The role offers exposure to a wide range of operational finance activities while working alongside project managers, creatives, and senior management within a dynamic agency environment.
The business is also currently implementing a new global finance platform, transitioning from Xero to a fully integrated system to support enhanced reporting across its international offices.
Key Responsibilities
Creating and issuing sales invoices and managing credit control
Processing purchase invoices and preparing payments
Posting monthly journals including accruals, prepayments and fixed assets
Daily bank postings and monthly bank and balance sheet reconciliations
Cash collection and client communication
Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes
Preparation and filing of VAT returns and other statutory filings
Assisting management with administrative and operational finance tasks
Supporting the implementation of new finance systems and processes
Candidate Profile
The successful candidate will be an organised and proactive finance professional who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and taking ownership of their work.
Key requirements include:
Approximately 3+ years' experience in an accounts assistant or bookkeeping role
Strong Excel and accounting system experience
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Strong communication skills, particularly when dealing with clients
Ability to work independently and use initiativeA practical and solutions-focused approach
Working Environment
The company offers a collaborative, young and creative workplace with an average team age of approximately 35.
The Dublin office is dog-friendly and operates within a relaxed but professional environment where finance works closely with creative and project teams.
Working Hours
Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm
Flexible hours available (e.g. 8:00am – 4:30pm)
Hybrid working with three days in the office

Interview Process
