With more than 130 years of financial experience and over 22,000 partners, we serve the world’s most sophisticated clients using leading technology and exceptional service.The mission of The IOO OTC Trade Capture team is to support and facilitate the capture and reporting of OTC trades to client books and records and interested 3rd parties.This includes capture, affirmation, and lifecycle events.The key responsibilities of the role include:Trade lifecycle management (capture, affirmation)Processing lifecycle events (resets, coupons, maturities, novations, credit events, etc.)Reconciliation of positions and valuations (internal + counterparty)Exception management and break resolutionCash flow verification and settlement coordinationClient reporting and operational query supportCollaboration with front office, fund accounting, and counterpartiesCollection and review of trade capture related Management Information (MI)Controls & RiskEnsure accuracy of client books and recordsMaintain audit trail and compliance with internal corporate policies & regulatory requirementsSystems / PlatformsOmnium (trade capture)DDM (Derivatives Data Management Hub)TriResolve (reconciliation)Fundmaster / accounting systemsThe ideal candidate should have a fair amount of the following skills & experience:Excellent oral and written communication skills are requiredPrior industry experienceAnalytical and problem solving skills are requiredKnowledge of capital markets and/or investment banking business is requiredCompetencies in one or more of the following is preferred: Bloomberg, Reuters, GMI, Eagle Star, Summit, Markit, OCCExperience in Accounting and/or Finance and a College or University degree in Business along with some relevant work experienceWorking with Us:As a Northern Trust partner, greater achievements await.
