Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced SAP Financial Consultant to support and enhance SAP Financials implementations, with a primary focus on General Ledger (GL) and Asset Accounting (AA). The ideal candidate will have strong functional expertise in SAP FI and proven experience integrating SAP with third-party systems. This role requires close collaboration with business and technical stakeholders to ensure accurate financial processing, reporting, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
* Configure, support, and enhance SAP Financial Accounting modules with a strong focus on General Ledger and Asset Accounting.
* Lead and support integration of SAP FI with third-party and external systems.
* Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective SAP FI solutions.
* Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close processes.
* Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with financial controls and standards.
* Provide functional support for SAP FI-related incidents, issues, and change requests.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technical, integration, and business users.
* Prepare functional documentation, configuration specifications, and test scenarios.
* Support testing activities, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
* Contribute to continuous process improvement and best practice adoption within SAP Financials.
Required Skills & Experience
* Strong hands-on experience in SAP Financial Accounting (FI).
* In-depth knowledge of General Ledger (GL) and Asset Accounting (AA).
* Proven experience integrating SAP FI with third-party systems.
* Solid understanding of end-to-end financial processes and accounting principles.
* Experience supporting financial close and reporting activities.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a hybrid and collaborative environment.
Nice to Have
* Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) processes.
* Exposure to other SAP Financial modules or cross-functional SAP integrations.
* Prior experience working in large or complex SAP landscapes.
