Reliability Engineer Job
We are seeking an experienced Reliability Engineer to join our team in Cork. The successful candidate will work closely with our clients to deliver strategic reliability projects and enhance asset performance management.
* Condition Based Monitoring: Implement new condition-based monitoring programs, improve existing ones, and analyze vibration, acoustic, lubrication, and oil analysis data.
* Analyze Asset Performance: Evaluate operational and asset performance data using reliability tools and condition monitoring data to identify poorly performing equipment, recurring failures, and opportunities for proactive improvement.
* Develop Maintenance Strategies: Collaborate with project teams to establish maintenance strategies for new equipment, ensuring accurate, resource-efficient plans that include necessary materials and elements.
* Condition Based Alarm: Develop condition-based models that predict pre-failure conditions, collaborate with maintenance engineers to identify current maintenance tasks or opportunities where data can be used to replace time-based preventive maintenance strategies.
* Optimize Maintenance Programs: Conduct PM optimization to align maintenance activities with equipment requirements, adjusting frequencies based on past performance, and integrating condition-based and predictive maintenance where appropriate.
The ideal candidate will have a relevant 3rd level qualification in Science, Engineering, or a related field, and at least 3-5 years of experience in reliability, maintenance, and asset management. Experience in condition-based maintenance programs, Vibration CAT I/II qualification is beneficial. Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams are essential.
