Lead On-Site Project Execution
As a site manager, you will oversee the execution of project activities on-site to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of project outcomes in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, schedule, and safety requirements.
* Project Planning: Develops project on-site activities in collaboration with the project manager, including necessary resources, equipment, and milestones. Ensures coordination between customers and external stakeholders regarding construction targets, health and safety protocols, site organization, and policies.
* On-Site Coordination: Responsible for coordinating all on-site activities to guarantee successful start-up, construction, testing, and commissioning processes in alignment with contractual obligations, quality expectations, schedules, and safety standards.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Acts as a project representative by building and maintaining effective relationships with customers and local organizations such as authorities, banks, and suppliers to secure their active support for field operations.
* Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Management: Ensures that detailed and up-to-date Health & Safety plans are in place for each work package, compliant with Hitachi Energy's H&S guidelines.
* Material Handling: Ensures proper handling, storage, and installation of delivered equipment, coordinating on-site storage and shipment logistics to facilitate timely site delivery.
* Subcontractor Management: Oversees subcontractors hired by Hitachi Energy to ensure quality and progress meet agreed standards and delivery dates.
Your Background:
We seek individuals with:
* Electrician or equivalent qualifications
* Basic proficiency in Microsoft Project
* At least 5 years of experience in Forman/Chargehand roles
* Excellent communication and customer relation skills
* Negotiation abilities
* Ability to assess, propose, and implement solutions for rapid recovery of troubled or challenged projects
