Construction Technology Specialist
The Construction Technology Specialist is responsible for creating, managing, and coordinating digital models for construction and engineering projects. This role involves working closely with architects, engineers, and project teams to ensure accurate, efficient, and effective use of technology throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
* Model Creation & Management: Develop, manage, and update 3D models for various construction projects, including structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
* Collaboration & Coordination: Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to define project requirements and ensure the correct implementation of technology.
* Implementation & Standards: Implement and maintain technology execution plans, ensuring compliance with industry standards and protocols.
* Clash Detection & Issue Resolution: Perform clash detection analysis to identify and resolve conflicts in the design before construction begins, minimizing costly rework and delays.
* Documentation & Reporting: Produce and maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for all technology-related activities, including models, reports, and specifications.
* Training & Support: Provide training and support for team members and stakeholders on the proper use of technology tools and software.
* Quality Control & Data Management: Perform regular checks to ensure the models are consistent, accurate, and up to date.
Qualifications:
* Education: Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
* Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in technology roles, preferably in construction, architecture, or engineering projects.
* Technical Skills: Proficiency in technology software, particularly Revit, Navisworks, Auto CAD, or similar platforms.
