Job SummaryWe are seeking a passionate and experienced Chef to lead our kitchen team in delivering exceptional culinary experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong culinary skills, a solid background in food production, and the ability to manage a team effectively. As a Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food safety and quality while fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.ResponsibilitiesSupervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service.Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards.Manage food production processes, ensuring consistency in taste, presentation, and quality.Maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety in compliance with health regulations.Lead by example, providing guidance and support to team members while encouraging professional development.Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction.Monitor inventory levels, placing orders for supplies as needed while minimising waste.Innovate new menu items that reflect current culinary trends and customer preferences.RequirementsProven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.Strong supervisory skills with experience in team management.Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods.Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices.Excellent leadership abilities with a passion for mentoring others.Previous experience in restaurant settings is highly desirable.Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
