My client, a leading developer, is seeking a Health & Safety Officer to work on a large-scale housing project in North County Dublin.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing construction team and take ownership of site-based health and safety management.
Reporting to the Health & Safety Manager, the successful candidate will ensure compliance, promote best practice, and drive a positive safety culture across the project.
Responsibilities Work as part of the construction management team to maintain a safe and productive site environment.
Implement and monitor the companys Health & Safety Management System across all site activities.
Identify site-specific hazards and ensure appropriate control measures are in place.
Maintain accurate statutory records and site safety documentation.
Support management in achieving full compliance with legislative and company safety standards.
Conduct site audits, address non-conformances, and contribute to incident investigations.
Lead toolbox talks, safety briefings, and contribute to ongoing safety training initiatives.
Liaise effectively with contractors, management, and regulatory bodies to uphold safety excellence.
Requirements Minimum of 4 years experience managing safety systems within the construction industry.
Qualification in Occupational Health & Safety (Level 7 or equivalent).
IOSH membership (preferred).
Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
