We are seeking a motivated Civil Site Engineer to join our clients' project delivery team in Limerick.This role focuses on high-impact Streetworks and Water Infrastructure projects, working with a well established Civil Engineering contractor, with significant work ahead in the Limerick region.As a key member of the site team, you will be responsible for the technical oversight, setting out, and quality control of essential utility upgrades and public realm enhancements.This is an ideal opportunity for an engineer with at least 2 years of experience to deepen their expertise in water conservation, network rehabilitation, and urban infrastructure within a fast-paced, innovative environment.Roles and ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will provide technical leadership on-site, ensuring that projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.Setting out and leveling for watermains, drainage, and streetscape elements using GPS and Total Station equipment.Implementing and maintaining strict Quality Management Systems (QMS); maintaining the site diary, as-built drawings, and quality records.Supervising site crews and subcontractors to ensure works align with design drawings and project schedules.Monitoring site compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations, including the implementation of Traffic Management Plans (TMP) in busy urban areas.Co‑ordinating with local authorities, Irish Water representatives, and members of the public to minimise disruption during streetworks.Assisting the Project Manager with progress reports, material requisitions, and the tracking of site resources (plant, materials, and labour).Skills and ExperienceWe are looking for a proactive professional who combines technical accuracy with strong communication skills.Degree (Level 7 or 8) in Civil Engineering or a related construction discipline.Minimum of 2+ years post-graduate experience in a site-based civil engineering role.Previous experience in Water/Wastewater infrastructure or Streetworks/Public Realm projects is an advantage.Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite.
