My client, a long-established building contractor, is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team in Dublin.The following information provides an overview of the skills, qualities, and qualifications needed for this role.This role offers exposure to a diverse range of projects with strong long-term career prospects.Responsibilities: Manage budgets, valuations, and cost reports.Assess and value variations and subcontractor accounts.Support project teams in financial forecasting and procurement.Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors.Ensure projects are delivered on budget and within contract terms.Requirements: Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.Minimum 2 years experience with a main contractor.Strong commercial and analytical skills.Proficient in Microsoft Excel and cost management systems.
