Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Engineering & Maintenance Manager to lead our established maintenance team.Role OverviewThe Maintenance Manager will have overall responsibility for managing and directing the maintenance function across several sites. This role involves leading an existing maintenance crew, planning and prioritising reactive and preventative maintenance, and providing strong technical leadership, particularly in electrical systems.This is a hands-on management role suited to someone with a strong work ethic, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to lead by example.Key ResponsibilitiesManage, supervise, and motivate an existing maintenance teamPlan, coordinate, and oversee all reactive and proactive maintenance worksAllocate daily and weekly tasks to maintenance staffProvide technical expertise, particularly in electrical fault-finding and repairsEnsure all electrical, mechanical, and general maintenance works are completed safely and efficientlyDevelop and maintain preventative maintenance schedules to minimise downtimeEnsure compliance with all health & safety, electrical, and statutory requirementsLiaise with site managers to prioritise maintenance needsCoordinate and manage external contractors where requiredUse digital systems and technology to track maintenance activities and reportingMaintain accurate records of works completed, breakdowns, and inspectionsEssential RequirementsTrade qualified or equivalent relevant experienceProven experience managing or leading a maintenance teamStrong planning and organisational skillsAbility to direct staff and manage workloads across multiple sitesTechnically competent and confident using technology and maintenance systemsExcellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approachStrong work ethic with the ability to work independentlyFull, clean driving licence and all relevant Site related certs.
