 
        
        A leading European data centre delivery partner, headquartered in Dublin, is seeking a Group Project & Commercial Accountant to join its growing finance team.
The organisation provides turnkey solutions across design, construction, and commissioning, delivering large-scale data centre projects throughout Europe.
The Group Project & Commercial Accountant will play a key role in supporting financial oversight and commercial reporting across multiple data centre projects.
This position will focus on cost control, project performance analysis, and management reporting to ensure strong financial governance across the groups European operations.
As part of the finance function, the Group Project & Commercial Accountant will collaborate closely with project, operations, and commercial teams to deliver accurate insights and ensure financial discipline throughout the business.
Responsibilities Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and present weekly and monthly cost and revenue reports for senior stakeholders, analysing trends, variances, and project performance across multiple sites.
Cost Control & Budgeting: Monitor project spending, track budgets, and collaborate with commercial teams to provide financial insights, projections, and recommendations.
Project & Contract Accounting: Manage WIP, revenue recognition, and contract accounting processes, while supporting continuous improvements in reporting systems such as Power BI.
Requirements Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with strong technical and analytical skills.
Minimum 3 years experience in financial or project accounting, ideally within construction, engineering, or large-scale project environments.
Strong proficiency in Excel and experience with financial reporting tools such as Power BI.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across finance and operational teams.
The successful Group Project & Commercial Accountant will demonstrate commercial awareness, attention to detail, and the ability to partner effectively with key business stakeholders across Europe.
Salary & Benefits Salary range: €65,000 to €85,000 per annum (depending on experience and qualifications).
