Supply Chain & Logistics Planning Executive (Automotive) A leading automotive distributor is hiring an experienced Supply Chain & Order Planning Executive to support vehicle supply, demand planning, and retailer operations across a national network. This is a fast-paced, data-driven role with strong exposure to logistics, forecasting, and stakeholder coordination. Key Responsibilities: Act as the main point of contact for retailers on new vehicle orders and delivery timelines Manage and maintain accurate estimated arrival dates for all vehicle orders Provide clear and proactive communication on supply availability and constraints Coordinate with logistics providers and transport partners to ensure timely vehicle deliveries Liaise with international production planning and shipping partners Maintain and update the vehicle ordering system in line with sales and supply plans Monitor demand data, identify trends, and highlight exceptions Support forecasting and production planning activities Drive improvements in data accuracy, reporting, and system processes Work closely with sales teams to manage stock levels and showroom requirements Take action to minimise aged stock and maintain a healthy inventory profile Assist with company fleet coordination, including vehicle allocation, usage, and disposal Experience & Skills: 3+ years experience in supply chain, logistics, or demand planning Experience in forecasting or planning is advantageous Strong analytical and numerical skills with high attention to detail Advanced Excel and MS Office proficiency Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Proactive, organised, and solutions-focused approach Full driving licence required If you are living in Ireland and hold a VALID WORK PERMIT, we would love to hear from you if however, you do not hold a valid work permit unfortunately we will not be in a position to assist you with your job search.
